What We Love About This Project:

  • Exceptional Cedar:  The exceptional cedar tree at the corner of 9th and 54th informed the shape of the building as it reaches the south end of the site.  The tree is healthy and happy, despite the constraints of the existing driveway, sidewalk, and street.
  • Consistent Facade:  Early concept drawings included a very regular facade, which remains a key design feature that we think will provide a lovely consistent back drop to the park across the street.  Though the materials are all quite dark, subtle texture and material changes are expected to provide a charming and varied elevation.
